As the Dean of Doctoral Programs at Capitol Technology University he was responsible for 42 different Doctoral Programs ranging from Cybersecurity, Analytics, Aviation, Aeronautical Science and Technology based. Dr. Farhad Rezazadeh received the Ph.D. degree (Excellent Cum Laude) in Signal Theory and Communications from Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain. He is currently an R&D engineer at the CTTC, Barcelona, Spain. He participated in 8 European and National 5G/B5G/6G R&D projects with leading and technical tasks in the areas of Applied AI and XAI. His AI innovation in B5G/6G resource allocation was recognized as a great EU-funded Innovation by the European Commission's Innovation Radar. He was awarded the first patent connected to the H2020 5G-SOLUTIONS project. He was a secondee at NEC Lab Europe and had scientific missions at TUM, Germany, TUHH, Germany and UdG, Spain. He is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Ph.D. grantee and won 5 different IEEE/IEEE ComSoc grants, 2 European Cooperation in Science and Technology grants, and a Catalan Government Ph.D. Grant. He is an active member of IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE Spain - Technical Activities and Standards with more than 30 top-tier journals/conferences and book chapters. He actively serves as Organizing, Chair, Reviewer, and TPC member in IEEE and Guest Editor in Elsevier. He has over 220 verified reviews for peer-reviewed publications. Prof. Atef Z. Elsherbeni

Biography

Atef Z. Elsherbeni received his B.Sc. degrees in Electronics & Communications and Applied Physics, and an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1976, 1979, and 1982, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada, in 1987. Dr. Elsherbeni began his career as a Software and System Design Engineer in Cairo (1980-1982) before serving as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Manitoba University (1987). He then joined the University of Mississippi, progressing from Assistant Professor (1987) to Professor (1997) and serving as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs (2009-2013). In 2013, he joined the Colorado School of Mines as the Dobelman Distinguished Chair Professor, later serving as Interim Department Head (2015-2016) and Electrical Engineering Department Head (2016-2018). He has held visiting positions at UCLA, Magdeburg University, and Tampere University of Technology and was named a Finland Distinguished Professor in 2009. An IEEE Life Fellow and ACES Fellow, Dr. Elsherbeni serves as Editor-in-Chief of ACES Journal and has held leadership roles in IEEE and ACES. He was General Chair of the 2014 APS-URSI Symposium and ACES President (2013-2015). Dr. Elsherbeni is an IEEE AP-S Distinguished Lecturer (2020-2023) and has received numerous accolades, including the 2023 IEEE APS Harrington-Mittra Award and the 2025 ACES Computational Electromagnetics Award for his contributions to computational electromagnetics and hardware acceleration.

Luigi Fortuna was born in Siracuse (ITALY) in 1953. He received the degree of Electrical Engineering (cum laudae) from the University of Catania in 1977. He was researcher in Electronics up to 1987 when he became Associate Professor of Automatic Control. In that a period he was more time visiting researcher at the JET (Joint European Torus) in Abington (UK) where he worked in the design of control apparatus of the JET machine. Since 1994 he is Full Professor of System Theory. Since 1987 he taught 75 courses at the University of Catania regarding all the topics related to Automation, Operative Research and Bioengineering.

His current research interests include signal processing, machine learning and perception, artificial intelligence, machine audition (listening), and statistical anomaly detection. Prof. Mohamed El-Hadidy

Mohamed El Hadidy (Senior Member, IEEE) received his M.Sc. in Electrical and Communications Engineering (with distinction) from the University of Kassel, Germany, in 2004. In 2005, he was awarded a doctoral scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This enabled him to complete his PhD in 2009 at the Institute for Communication Technology at the Leibniz University of Hanover. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as Assistant Professor for Electronics and Communications Engineering at the German University in Cairo, Egypt, leading international research projects on UWB MIMO communication systems, Cognitive Radios and Interference Alignment Wireless Technologies. From 2010 to 2018, he was a research group leader at the Institute of Digital Signal Processing at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In March 2018, he received the title of Professor for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Germany. From March 2022, he is Professor of IoT and Digital Communication Technology at RheinMain University in Germany. Prof. El Hadidy is a reviewer for several international IEEE transactions and conferences. He chaired the IEEE Middle East Conference on Antennas and Propagation 2016 and has been a keynote speaker and co-chair of several IEEE conferences. He has received the Simulia Champoin Award for the year 2025 and he is recently leading several research projects with Monash University in Australia on Chipless RFID Systems. Naoki Nishikawa is a Deputy Manager at Digital Innovation Headquarters, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI). He received a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Tokyo in 2012 and a Ph.D. in Information Science from Nagoya University in 2019. His expertise involves systems modeling, optimization, data analytics, AI and machine learning techniques, and intelligent control algorithms. He is also interested in autonomy, multi-agent systems and human-computer interaction. Since joining MHI in 2012, he has been engaged as an industry expert in developing shared technologies in the field of information processing and has applied those technologies across diverse business sectors such as energy and power systems, robotics, mobility, infrastructure, and logistics. He currently leads a research and development team focused on advancing the real-world application of AI solutions and is responsible for promoting digitalization and intelligence across products and engineering processes within the MHI Group. Notably, many of his research topics relate to various key points along the lifecycle of electric power, covering from generation to consumption as well as transmission/distribution networks and energy storage. His technical efforts for those applications include inventing new control mechanisms, developing advanced energy management systems, and applying data analytics and machine learning techniques for demand forecasting, operational optimization, and predictive maintenance strategies. As part of his public contributions, he recently served as a panelist at the Prognostics and System Health Management Conference (PHM 2024), where he discussed advancements in predictive maintenance strategies and presented his research on soft sensor technology for heat- pumps at the Sustainable Energy and Environmental Protection Conference (SEEP 2024).

Hessam Mahdavifar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received the B.Sc. degree from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2007, and the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees from the University of California San Diego (UCSD), La Jolla, in 2009, and 2012, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He was with the University of Michigan, first as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor, between 2017 and 2023. Before that, he was with the Samsung US R&D between 2012 and 2016, in San Diego, US, as a staff research engineer. He has received a number of awards including the NSF career award in 2020, the Best Paper Award in 2015 IEEE International Conference on RFID, and the 2013 Samsung Best Paper Award. He also received two Silver Medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2002 and 2003, and two Gold Medals at Iran National Mathematical Olympiad in 2001 and 2002.

He has accrued laboratory and engineering including radiation lab involving specialized instrumentation combined experience in quality assurance, and control and research and development (LENR) approx. 26 years. Amar has professional communications experience (includes sales and marketing of products) of nearly 31 years including making films, talk radio, public presenter, and written works found through various media platforms. Amar has taught and coached K-12 and higher education in several capacities (academic advisor, mentor, adjunct instructor, licensing instructor, teacher, tutor, and demonstrator) accruing 18 years. In addition, Amar worked in private security and maintenance accruing at least 22 years involving direct public interface (legally documenting most if not all human/sometimes wild animal activities from the normal to the abnormal including the need for variety of official public resources frequently involving law enforcement, and rare instances detectives. Lastly, Amar has subjectively and objectively investigated (including a lead in personal encounters with “peri” normal investigators) high strangeness (including personal tragedies) stemming back to circa late 1970s to the present day. Ahmed M. A. Sayed is an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, where he directs the MSc Data Science programme and leads the SAYED Systems Group. I studied Computer Engineering at İzmir Institute of Technology, where I enrolled in 2012. During my first year, I founded my own company, developing technologies in various fields. One of my most impactful ventures was Bi’Komşu, the world's first "bill on the hook" platform, launched during the COVID-19 pandemic with Aykut, Ezgi, and Berkan. This initiative enabled millions of Turkish lira worth of bills to be paid directly, inspiring major metropolitan municipalities to establish large-scale versions, covering over 100 million lira in bills. In 2021, my interest in mobility and sustainability led me to establish Scootable, making us the first Turkish company to receive investment from EIT Urban Mobility. Scootable expanded into Europe and gained global recognition. To deepen my expertise, I pursued a master's in Sustainable Energy at İzmir University of Economics in 2022, researching electric mobility. In 2023, I founded GridPlanner to address challenges in energy and mobility, securing Pre-R&D support from GDZ Elektrik. Throughout my journey, I led projects supported by KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK, and the EU. I was invited as a speaker at global events like Smart City World Congress 2023 in Barcelona and Smart City Expo 2024 in Taipei.
